Thelma and Louis are pretty picky when it comes to toys. Like most cats they tend to prefer the box the toys came in. But once in a while a toy will grab their attention for a few weeks. And this latest one is definitely doing that!

It’s been about three weeks since we’ve had this interactive butterfly wand, and they’re still going strong. We initially used it with the suction cup but it didn’t last long that way (the wire broke on two different ones) so we’ve been using it as a wand toy. It comes with a USB charger and runs on a charge that actually lasts a few days the way we’re using it, so pretty good!

Like most wand toys it gets cats engaged the more you move it around so they can chase it, but what’s really great about this one is the movement it makes. The way the butterfly vibrates feels very realistic, which really seems to get their hunting instincts revved up.

Thelma and Louis love this toy so much that we bought three just to have on hand in case one breaks or needs to be charged. I guess we’re a bit obsessed!
